What can you expect from serving as a Stephen Minister?
When you help others you also help yourself. Read what Dr. John Ortber, pastor of Menlo Park Presbyterian Church said regarding Stephen Ministry in his church.
“Stephen Ministry is helping our congregation in a number of ways. One is by building the spiritual and emotional life of the people who give care. I think a lot of people go into Stephen Ministry to help others but then are surprised by how much it enriches their own heart and relationships.”
Ephesians 2:10 tells us we are created to do good works. 1 Peter 4:10-11 tells us we are gifted to serve others and bring glory to Christ in doing so.
