A Message From Pastor John Tape:
We are staying up-to-date with our city, state and federal health guidelines. Although the situation changes, we are monitoring it through the CDC and the World Health Organization. We are asking you, our Lord of Life family, to take precautions to keep yourself and others safe.
Please be mindful of the guidance from the CDC including:
- Stay home when you are sick.
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom, before eating, and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.
- Avoid touching eyes, ears, nose and mouth.
- If you have traveled to any of the countries where there are outbreaks of the virus, please follow the CDC guidelines.
- Our staff is following the same CDC guidelines.
We remain certain of God’s steadfast presence and careful attention to all that is happening and we are standing in God’s truth and on His word.
King David writes in Psalm 23, The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
Please join us in praying for those who are affected by this illness, as well as their caregivers and those who are working around the clock to minimize the impact of this virus.
In The Arms of the Good Shepherd,
Pastor Tape
