Beyond Leawood and the greater Kansas City area, Lord of Life actively serves the world by supporting mission work in Haiti, Taiwan and West Africa.

Since 2002, Lord of Life has partnered with Christ the King in Merotte, Haiti to help build up its local ministry. Several mission teams from Lord of Life have traveled to this third world country over the past eight years to assist Christ the King with various projects including:

• Preschool and school construction
• Children’s outreach ministry
• Primary care medical clinics

In January 2012, another mission team made its way to Haiti.

Lord of Life also partners with Taiwan missionary Graham Guenther and West Africa missionaries Pastor Tim and Beth Heiney by providing financial and spiritual prayer support. Tim and Beth are seeking to buy some property for a permanent church in Conakry, Guinea. Please read their words of explanation and prayerfully consider how you can help support this effort with a special gift.

Graham and his family are longtime members of Lord of Life, and Pastor Heiney served the congregation part time for two years while on furlough from the mission field.

Additionally, Lord of Life has a close relationship with Children’s Christian Concern Society, which provides Christian education to children in 22 countries.
