Mission

To state it simply, the mission at Lord of Life is to “Love God, Love Others, and Serve the World.”

The mission is rooted in the very own words of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as recorded in the book of Matthew in the Bible:

• Jesus’ Great Commission in Matthew 28:19-20:“Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

• Jesus’ Great Commandment in Matthew 22:34-40:“’Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”

Through Christ our Lord and His ultimate sacrifice – Lord of Life exists to transform lives by the working of the Holy Spirit so people will discover their life purpose to “Love God, Love Others, and Serve the World.”

Romans 12:1-2: Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God – this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will.
